They might have been arch rivals on the cricket field but former Australian pacer Brett Lee is eager to watch a biopic on cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar. 39-year-old Lee, who is making his acting debut with Australian film "Unindian" is excited about biopic on Tendulkar titled "Sachin: A Billion Dreams".
The upcoming Indian biographical film is helmed by James Erskine and it stars the cricket maestro himself.
"It's great to see films on cricketers' life and journey. I am looking forward to see Sachin Tendulkar biopic. I like that more. He is a
great player and a nice human being," Brett told PTI. Bollywood filmmakers seem to be fascinated with cricketers' life as movies are being
made on them. A biopic on former Indian captain Mohammed Azharuddin titled "Azhar" was released earlier this year with Emraan Hashmi playing the lead role.
There is also a biopic on M S Dhoni which has Sushant Singh Rajput essaying role of the limited overs skipper. Ask Brett about a making a
biopic on himself, he says, "No not now. It is not exciting for me at the moment. I am focused about 'Unindian".
