Priti Patel offers prayers at the Akshardham Temple in New Delhi
Bilateral cooperation in the spheres of skill development, infrastructure financing, innovation, energy and ease of doing business was discussed on Saturday(August 13) when British Minister for International Development Priti Patel met India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi in New Delhi.
Patel, who arrived here on Friday in her role as a cabinet minister in the new British government of Prime Minister Theresa May, also held meetings with Finance Minister Arun Jaitley and Urban Development Minister Venkaiah Naidu.
In her meeting with India’s Minister of Finance Arun Jaitley on Friday (August 12) they discusssed ways in which the two Governments can strengthen links between key economic institutions and centers of excellence in the UK and India.
